Baltimore man arrested after pointing gun at two people during dispute

Baltimore man points gun at pair from window in late-night standoff

BALTIMORE, MD – A 33-year-old man was taken into custody Saturday night after allegedly pointing a firearm at two people during a dispute outside his Northeast Baltimore home, according to city police.

The incident happened around 10:54 p.m. in the 4600 block of Parkwood Avenue. Patrol officers responded to a report of an aggravated assault involving a gun being pointed at a 40-year-old man and a 39-year-old woman from a nearby window.

Following the confrontation, additional officers arrived at the scene. The suspect exited his residence and surrendered without incident.

Police confirmed that the man is legally prohibited from possessing a firearm. Officers recovered a firearm and ammunition from inside the home.

The suspect was transported to the Central Booking Intake Facility and charged. His name has not been publicly released. No injuries were reported.
