Glen Burnie, MD – A Baltimore man has been arrested and charged after allegedly firing two shots at another man during a confrontation in Glen Burnie earlier this week, Anne Arundel County Police said.

The incident occurred around 12:30 p.m. on December 17 in the 7900 block of Baltimore Annapolis Boulevard. Police said a 46-year-old man reported that while talking with acquaintances outside, he was approached by a suspect who pulled out a handgun and fired twice. The victim was not struck, and the suspect fled on foot.

Detectives from the Northern District Detective Unit identified the shooter as 27-year-old Karonta Donnell Curtis of Baltimore. On December 18, investigators located and arrested Curtis, who was found carrying a handgun. Following further investigation, detectives charged him the next day with attempted first- and second-degree murder, first- and second-degree assault, reckless endangerment, and several weapons offenses.
