Man with gunshot wound walks into Baltimore hospital as detectives search for shooting scene

BALTIMORE, MD — A 42-year-old man walked into a Baltimore hospital Wednesday night with a gunshot wound, and now detectives are working to determine where the shooting took place.

Southern District patrol officers were called to the hospital around 10:01 p.m. after staff reported the walk-in victim. The man was found suffering from what appeared to be a non-life-threatening gunshot injury.

Investigators said the exact location of the shooting remains unknown, and the circumstances leading up to the incident are unclear. It is also not yet known how the victim made his way to the hospital.
