Baltimore woman turns herself in after fatal stabbing of man

BALTIMORE, Md. — A 37-year-old woman has been arrested and charged with first-degree murder in connection with the fatal stabbing of a man in the Southeast District, Baltimore Police announced.

Sherrice Parker of Baltimore turned herself in to homicide detectives on July 3 at Police Headquarters. She was later transported to Central Booking and charged in the death of 46-year-old Donte Chase.

The incident occurred on June 30 around 11:09 p.m., when officers responded to the 700 block of North Kenwood Avenue for a report of a stabbing outside a residence.

Upon arrival, officers found Chase suffering from a stab wound. He was transported to a hospital, where he later died.

Police say the incident was domestic-related.
