Police investigating stabbing on Benning Road NE involving three suspects
WASHINGTON, DC – A stabbing late Thursday night in Northeast DC has prompted an active investigation by the Metropolitan Police Department, with officers searching for three suspects last seen fleeing the area.
The incident occurred around 11 p.m. in the 1600 block of Benning Road NE, within the city’s 5th District. Responding MPD units located a victim suffering from stab wounds. The condition of the victim has not been disclosed, and no arrests have been made as of Friday morning.
Police are currently searching for three suspects described only as wearing all black clothing. No additional identifying information has been released.
