Trenton, NJ – A Bergen County lottery player has struck it big, claiming a $600,000 top prize in the Colossal Crossword Scratch-Off game.

The $30 ticket was purchased on September 22 at Manor Sweet Shoppe, located at 112 Jackson Avenue in Rutherford. Lottery officials confirmed it was the third and final jackpot prize in the game.

The win marks one of the biggest Scratch-Off payouts reported this month in New Jersey.

Since 1970, the Lottery has contributed nearly $34.6 billion to the state, with profits supporting programs and pensions under a 30-year funding law signed in 2017.
