The incident occurred on Thursday, August 7, at approximately 5:36 p.m. in the 1100 block of 7th Street, Northwest. According to investigators, a physical altercation escalated when the suspect pulled a knife and stabbed the victim before fleeing the scene on foot.

The victim survived the attack and was transported to a nearby hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, police said.
