MANHATTAN, N.Y. — The New York City Police Department is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying a suspect involved in a violent robbery that occurred early Tuesday morning in the Bronx. The incident took place at approximately 4:40 a.m. on July 16, near the intersection of Morris Avenue and East 169th Street, within the confines of the 44th Precinct.

According to the NYPD, a 43-year-old man was approached by an unidentified individual while walking in the area. The suspect demanded the victim’s book bag, prompting the victim to flee.
