Bronx Man Fatally Shot in Harlem Identified

NEW YORK, NY – In a late-night incident on November 23, 48-year-old Daniel Straker from the Bronx was fatally shot at 667 Macombs Place, in the 32 Precinct area. Police responded to the scene around 11:45 PM following a 911 call. On arrival, they found Straker with a gunshot wound to his back.

Emergency services transported Straker to NYC Health + Hospitals / Harlem, where he was declared deceased. Currently, no arrests have been made in connection with the shooting. The investigation is active, with authorities appealing for information to help identify the perpetrator.
