Bronx Man Stabbed to Death During Robbery by 14-Year-Old Girl

A 35-year-old Bronx man was found dead after suffering a stab wound early Tuesday morning.

The victim has been identified as Jose Valarezo of the Bronx.

According to a police statement, at approximately 6:58 a.m., officers from the 44 Precinct responded to a 911 call reporting an “aided” individual at East 170 Street and Morris Avenue.

Upon arrival, police discovered Valarezo unconscious and unresponsive, suffering from a stab wound to the groin. He was later pronounced dead at Bronx Care Health System.

The Medical Examiner is yet to determine the official cause of death, but a 14-year-old female has been arrested in connection with the case.

According to authorities, she was arrested and charged on Tuesday, October 17, 2023, in the jurisdiction of the 44 Precinct. She faces a litany of charges including murder, manslaughter, robbery, grand larceny, petit larceny, criminal possession of a weapon, and criminal possession of stolen property.
