Bronx mini market sells $50K Powerball winner
BRONX, NY – A neighborhood convenience store in the Bronx has sold a $50,000 third-prize-winning Powerball ticket from Monday night’s drawing.
The ticket, which matched four numbers and the Power Ball in the September 29 draw, was purchased at Sory’s Mini Market, located at 3519 White Plains Road.
Powerball drawings take place on Monday, Wednesday, and Saturday evenings at 10:59 p.m., with players across the country vying for millions in prizes.
The New York Lottery said it generated $3.6 billion in funding for public education during the last fiscal year.
