Winning Take 5 ticket sold at Brooklyn convenience store

BROOKLYN, NY – A Brooklyn player struck it lucky in the August 18 Take 5 Midday drawing after purchasing a top-prize ticket at a local shop.

The New York Lottery announced the winning ticket was sold at Xing Fu Yuan, located at 5802 Fort Hamilton Parkway, first floor. The ticket is valued at $16,742.50.

Take 5 drawings take place twice daily, at 2:30 p.m. and 10:30 p.m., and prizes can be claimed up to one year from the drawing date.

The New York Lottery, the largest and most profitable lottery in North America, contributed $3.6 billion to support public schools across the state in the 2024–2025 fiscal year.
