Brooklyn Shooting Leaves One Man Critically Injured

FDNY Ambulance on scene to provide medical assistance to victims.

BROOKLYN, NY – Early Sunday morning, police responded to a shooting at the intersection of Nostrand Avenue and Montgomery Street, within the 71st Precinct. At approximately 12:55 AM, a 21-year-old male was found unconscious and unresponsive with a gunshot wound to his upper back, beside a Volkswagen Jetta. Emergency Medical Services transported the victim to NYC Health + Hospitals/Kings County Hospital, where he remains in critical condition. No arrests have been made, and the investigation continues.
