HINCKLEY, OH — A $50,000 prize-winning VIP Millions scratch-off ticket was sold at a Sheetz store in Brunswick, the Ohio Lottery confirmed Wednesday.

The winner, a resident of Hinckley, purchased the $50 scratch-off at Sheetz #648, located at 2771 Center Road. After federal and state tax withholdings totaling 28 percent, the player will receive a net prize of $36,000.

VIP Millions is one of the Ohio Lottery’s higher-priced scratch-off games, offering a top prize of $40,000 a year for 25 years. As of Wednesday, 35 top prizes remain unclaimed.

The game continues to draw interest across the state due to its large prize pool and long-term payout options. The winning ticket is among several recent significant wins from Sheetz locations in Ohio.

The Ohio Lottery has directed more than $33 billion toward education funding since its inception in 1974.
