Brunswick winner unwraps $20K in holiday cheer with a lucky scratch-off

Brunswick, Ohio — A lucky Ohio Lottery player has claimed a $20,000 prize from the Home for the Holidays scratch-off ticket, purchased at True North #380 in Brunswick.

The winner, whose name was not disclosed, will take home approximately $14,400 after mandatory state and federal tax withholdings totaling 28 percent.

Home for the Holidays, a $10 scratch-off game, offers a top prize of $500,000. According to the Ohio Lottery, six top prizes remain unclaimed as of November 25.

True North #380, located at 3240 Center Road, sold the winning ticket, adding to the store’s reputation as a lucky location for lottery enthusiasts.
