MANALAPAN,NJ-At approximately 5:15 pm, a vehicle in the parking lot at Walgreens pharmacy drove through the brick wall located at the intersection of Route 33 and Woodward Road. The crash occurred on the Woodward Road side of the building. Emergency workers cleared the scene, leaving a large exposed opening in the side of the building.
According to the Police Department, “We are currently investigating a one car motor vehicle crash at the Walgreens on Rt 33 and Woodward Rd. Although there are no road closures at this time, however, we request that drivers plan an alternate route as the investigation is ongoing.”
Roads were not closed, but the parking lot entrance on the Woodward Road side was blocked off after the police and fire department response cleared.
