Carjacking Suspects Arrested in Southwest Baltimore

BALTIMORE, MD – Two teenagers were arrested following a carjacking and commercial robbery incident in Southwest Baltimore. The Baltimore Police Department’s Aviation Unit (Foxtrot) played a crucial role in apprehending the suspects on December 30, 2023.

At approximately 6:30 p.m., Foxtrot received an alert from a license plate reader (LPR) identifying a vehicle involved in a carjacking near Edmondson Avenue and South Monroe Street. The unit tracked the vehicle to the 1700 block of Hollins Street. Subsequently, the suspects, aged 16 and 15, fled into a residence in the 1600 block of Frederick Avenue, where they were taken into custody.

The young suspects were transported to Juvenile Booking, where they are being processed and charged.
