Guadagno: Legalizing prostitution would be better than legalizing pot

In an interview with Bill Spadea on NJ101.5 yesterday, former Lt. Governor Kim Guadagno said legalizing prostitution would be less harmful than legalizing recreational marijuana and that doing so would benefit the women who work in the world’s oldest profession.

“Now that I’m not running for office anymore, if they need revenue that badly, let’s legalize a victimless crime and tax it up the wazoo.  What to I mean by that? Let’ legalize prostitution,” Guadagno said.

“It’s better for women cause they’ll get good medical care. We’ll cut off the middleman, if you know what I mean, and it’s between two consenting adults.”

Welle’s Company Owes $130K In Delinquent Taxes

Josh Welle thanked Sen Menendez for his mentorship during the Dem Convention in Atlantic City last month

The technology company that Josh Welle co-founded in 2015 still exists and it owes $130,424.14 in delinquent taxes to the State of Delaware, according to public records obtained on Monday by MMM.

Welle is the Democrat nominee for congress in New Jersey’s 4th district.

The candidate reported that his company, Severn Pacific Inc., was dissolved in his Financial Disclosure Statement filed with the Clerk House of Representatives on March 11, 2018, the day after MMM reported that he was delinquent in filing that report. His FDS says he was the CEO of the company.

During a candidates’ forum in February, while he was competing for the Democrat nomination for Congress in CD-4, Welle told the Democrat activists present that his company was dissolved and that no one owns it.

Monmouth County Sheriff Warns Beachgoers of Dangers After Beach Replenishment

Monmouth County Sheriff Shaun Goldman today issued an announcement warning people about proper beach safety here at the Jersey Shore.   He was joined by Tim Harmon, chief of lifeguards.

Goldman said even though Monmouth County’s beaches have been replenished, there are risks associated with that replenishment.

“We’ve had beach replenishment here as you can see with all this sand, but it could eb dangerous,” Goldman said.

Harmon said that wider beaches and hot sand can burn the feet of beachgoers and advises the wearing of footwear.  Harmon said kids should wear flip flops and not dig holes on the beach.
