Joint Base Mission Refueled After Winning New Tanker Mission

WASHINGTON-Despite efforts by the Obama administration to have another round of efforts to close military bases nationwide in 2015, the mission of Ocean County’s Joint Base MDL (JB-MDL) appears that it will not only continue, but grow.   That Base Realignment and Closure (BRAC) went nowhere, but the Joint Base’s future remained in jeopardy until this past year when it not only survived threats of a new round of BRAC hearing, it was upgraded to the designation of Main Operating Base (MOB) by the U.S. Air Force.

That is according to U.S. Congressman Chris Smith.   With the designation of a Main Operating Base, one of five nationwide, JB-MDL is now slated to receive 24 new KC-46 Pegasus tankers to replace the current fleet of aging KC-10 Extenders.

“Securing this vitally important air refueling mission not only significantly enhances US military power but will ensure the sustainability of the JB from any future closure,” said Smith, Dean of the New Jersey Congressional Delegation who represents a large portion of the installation. “The servicemembers at the Joint Base have truly earned this mission. The skilled human capital that makes the base run, the proven track record of success in ensuring our military has the strategic ability to operate around the world and the strong support of our local communities brings unparalleled capabilities to the Air Force and our national security “Today’s decision is a big win for JB-MDL and a monumental step that will help maintain and secure the base—and its economic impact for New Jersey—for decades to come. It’s quite a day in the history of Joint Base MDL and in New Jersey.”

With this approval JB-MDL is one of only two bases named to receive the next generation tankers this round. The Air Force announced that Travis AFB in California will also receive 24 KC-46s.

“This is incredible news for Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst, the state of New Jersey and the future of national security in the United States,” said Congressman MacArthur. “I am grateful for the contributions and support of Governor Christie, Lieutenant Governor Guadagno, Senators Booker and Menendez, my colleagues in the House, Congressmen Smith and Norcross, as well as the hundreds of elected officials and community members who joined us in the fight to secure the KC-46. This truly was a team effort, and because of that, over 42,000 New Jersey residents in my district who are employed at the base and the thousands of additional jobs in the surrounding area that rely on its survival can breathe easy knowing the Joint Base will remain our nation’s premier air mobility installation by becoming the new home of the KC-46 air-to-air refueling tanker.”

The base’s current 32 KC-10s are continually targeted for retirement and will now be replaced by the new KC-46s.  The base also hosts eight KC-135 Stratotankers and 13 C-17 Globemaster III airlifters, and other planes and helicopters.

“It is a great day for New Jersey and the Joint Base! When the KC-46A mission is finalized, it will potentially provide mission stability to the Joint Base and provide financial and job security to the surrounding communities that depend on the Base,” said Lt. Governor Kim Guadagno. “As the Chairwoman of the New Jersey Military Installation Growth and Development Task Force, I’m proud and honored to have worked so closely on this project with the New Jersey Congressional Delegation as well as local leaders from Ocean and Burlington counties.  Together, we are the best team in the Nation.”

Last January, the Air Force announced that JB-MDL was one of 11 installations in the running for MOB4, and then made the candidates list of the final five bases announced in June 2016—joined by Dover AFB, Fairchild AFB, Grand Forks AFB, and Travis AFB.

U.S. Intelligence Chief: Trumped Up Russia "Spy Doc" Not From US Intelligence Community

James Clapper, Director of National Intelligence for the United States and the administration of Barack Obama said today that the “leaked” document which contributed to false news stories by Buzzfeed and CNN was not a government document.

Despite being passed off by media outlets as a “leaked government document” about President-elect Donald Trump, Clapper said the information contained in the document has not been confirmed by any U.S. intelligence agency.

He spoke last night with Trump.

“This evening, I had the opportunity to speak with President-elect Donald Trump to discuss recent media reports about our briefing last Friday. I expressed my profound dismay at the leaks that have been appearing in the press, and we both agreed that they are extremely corrosive and damaging to our national security,” clapper said.  “We also discussed the private security company document, which was widely circulated in recent months among the media, members of Congress and Congressional staff even before the IC became aware of it.”

Clapper emphasized that this document is not a U.S. Intelligence Community product and that he did not believe the leaks came from within the IC.

“The IC has not made any judgment that the information in this document is reliable, and we did not rely upon it in any way for our conclusions,” he added.  “However, part of our obligation is to ensure that policymakers are provided with the fullest possible picture of any matters that might affect national security.”

Clapper issued reassurance that despite the media narrative of a contested relationship between Trump and the intelligence community, it is more media spin than reality.

“President-elect Trump again affirmed his appreciation for all the men and women serving in the Intelligence Community, and I assured him that the IC stands ready to serve his Administration and the American people,” he said.

“James Clapper called me yesterday to denounce the false and fictitious report that was illegally circulated. Made up, phony facts.Too bad,” Trump said today.

Fact Checking Tomi Lahren: Are Cattle Being Jam Packed into Ships and Imported to American Shelves Without Consumers Knowing?

Where does American beef come from? Most of us think we get those steaks on the kitchen table from the pristine American outback ranges in states like Texas, Nebraska and Kansas.  On Tuesday, conservative voice Tomi Lahren told us a tale of American cattle ranchers being pushed out by beef supplies from overseas in her feature entitled, “Make the American Table Great Again”.

In her final thought, she spoke out for the American cattle rancher, who have been slammed by a 2015 bill pushed down the throats of the American public by the World Trade Organization.

“Cowboys and cattlemen have never had it easy, these last two years have been brutal” Lahren said. “The cost to operate has gone up, but the cost of cattle has gone down, alot.”

She noted this was due to Congress repealing the COOL (Country of Origin Labeling) on meat products, allowing other nations to import and sell their products alongside homegrown beef, and without letting the consumer know where it was coming from.

For a few years, manufacturers were required to stamp the country of origin on packages of meat and pork products, but the World Trade Organization complained, saying the U.S. law unfairly targeted international beef suppliers.  In 2015, President Obama signed the $1.5 trillion omnibus bill, which effectively also repealed the COOL laws.

Lahren said beef today comes from South America, Canada, Japan and others, no longer just from the American rancher.

To learn more about cattle ships, visit the ESDAW, the European Society of Dog and Animal Welfare’s page. Click on this image to visit or go to http://www.esdaw.eu/animal-ocean-transportation.html.

“That means your beef is transported in crates for God only knows how long,” she said. “Animal lovers, live cattle are smashed into shipping containers and shipped to this country to be slaughtered for a discount.”

“Would you have a family eat out of a dumpster, not knowing what’s on your table?” she asked. “Then why in the hell would you put foreign sketchy beef on your table?”

“Every American has the right to know where their beef is coming from,” She added.  “If you want to eat that foreign crap, go for it.”

But, is she right? Are cattle jam packed into ships on long voyages enroute to the United States?   It’s something many people don’t think about, but that’s exactly how it happens…and it isn’t a pleasant sight.

In October of 2015, a cattle ship in Brazil sunk in port, sending 5,000 cows into the water to die.  The scene was caught on video and gives you a glimpse into how cattle are shipped from overseas.

A year before, one of the world’s largest cattle carrying ships burned in Australia, also while docked, but was luckily empty of cattle.

In conclusion, Lahren is right.  For over a year, Americans have been in the dark about where their beef and pork comes from as the USDA and even your local grocery store is not allowed by law, to report your meat’s country of origin.

CNN Report Confirms Method of Russian Hacking of DNC

by Phil Stilton

According to a CNN report on the Russian hacking of the DNC in 2016, it appears a mid-twentieth century Robco terminal was used for the intrusion.   In a video report for CNN’s story ‘White House announces retaliation against Russia: Sanctions, ejecting diplomats‘, the network shows a hacker on a laptop hacking into a Robco Industries Termlink, most likely from somewhere within the commonwealth.

Just go to about the one minute mark in the video the see it first hand.

Apparently, after locating the DNC’s terminal on their Pip Boy, the Russian hackers utilized their master lock picking skills to gain access to the DNC’s hardware and retrieve John Podesta’s email before being spotted by a nearby raiders before quickly sending Preston with the stolen data over to Wikileaks.

There’s just one problem.  Since CNN is just as in the dark as the rest of America on how the DNC servers were hacked and by who…and if they actually were hacked, they used in-game screen video from the popular role playing game Fallout 4 to sensationalize the hacking attempt.

Thanks to the ever so vigilant Reddit user I_Can_Explain, who brought it to the world’s attention, the CNN gaffe was exposed and rightfully mocked in a public forum.

“If you want to talk about hacking on a major news network, your choices are either that or a scene from The Matrix,” wrote dlollolb.    But that was a few seconds earlier in the video.

“Sorry pulling images of a video game and airing them as part of your hacking story is the definition of journalism fail,” responded Will_Nicely_Disagree.  “It’s sensationalist (ooh look how those dastardly hackers operated) and completely unnecessary to report the actual story. An image of a stock computer could just as easily have accompanied this story, but that was obviously not flashy enough for CNN.”

The CNN hackergate terminal mystery was quickly solved.

“Doing a Google Image Search for ‘hack computer’ gets more than one Fallout screenshot,” wrote corey_m_snow.  “Some intern probably just picked something that looked technical enough and ran with it.”

So it appears some video jockey intern at a major liberal news network Googled “hacking” and after scrolling through a few Matrix pictures, decided it was a good idea to use the first two things he or she found to sensationalize the story.

Bethesda Softworks, published of Fallout 4, further mocked CNN by using a screenshot of their in-game terminal, saying, “Sneak Peek at Season 3 of .”

Mr. Robot is a show about a cybersecurity expert by day who becomes a vigilante hacker by night.

Washington Post Retracts Russian Power Grid Hacking Story

by Phil Stilton

VERMONT-The Washington Post last week was a willing ally in President Obama’s factless assault on Russia, reporting, “Russian operation hacked a Vermont utility, showing risk to U.S. electrical grid security.”

Now, the liberal based newspaper which was under fire for its poor election coverage in 2016 has said no such event took place.

“An earlier version of this story incorrectly said that Russian hackers had penetrated the U.S. electric grid. Authorities say there is no indication of that so far,” the paper said in a retraction today. “The computer at Burlington Electric that was hacked was not attached to the grid.”

No evidence made available to the public or media suggests or proves the hacking was tied to Russia either.

In an interview this week with George Stephanopoulos, incoming White House press secretary Sean Spicer questioned the President’s motives on the sanctions and expulsion of Russian diplomats.

“I think one of the questions that we have is why the magnitude of this?” Spicer said. “I mean you look at 35 people being expelled, two sites being closed down, the question is, is that response in proportion to the actions taken? Maybe it was. Maybe it wasn’t but you have to think about that.”

Incoming President Donald Trump said he will be holding an intelligence meeting this week.  In a conversation New Year’s eve with the media, the President-elect touched on the Russian hacking issue.

“I just want them to be sure, because it’s a pretty serious charge, and I want them to be sure.  If you look at the weapons of mass destruction, that was a disaster, and they were wrong,” Trump said. “It could be somebody else, and I know things that other people don’t know. So they cannot be sure of the situation.”

Although Washington has raised allegations of Russian hacking, no solid proof has been provided to the American public to date.   Security expert John MacAfee, said this weekend that he is confident the attacks were not originated in Russia.  MacAfee said that if Russia was behind the attacks, their tracks would have been well hidden.

He said that a skilled attacker would mask his footprints to make the attacks appear as if they were coming from a third party.  He aded, if all of the tracks left lead back to Russia, it was not Russia and a skilled hacker simply made it appear that way.

Blanket Party for Former Marine, Democrat who Opposes Mattis for Secretary of Defense

by Phil Stilton

WASHINGTON, DC-Arizona Democrat Rep. Ruben Gallego, a former U.S. Marine Reservist will not be backing fellow Devil Dog and retired Marine Corps General James “Mad Dog” Mattis as the next United States Secretary of Defense.

Gallego said he will vote against Mattis’ required waiver.

“As a fellow Marine, I greatly admire General James Mattis’ dedication and leadership. We all should be incredibly grateful for his many years of service to our nation,” Gallego said.  “As a veteran, I believe strongly in the principle of civilian leadership of the military. Current law requires that a military officer be out of active duty for at least seven years before taking the job of defense secretary. I do not believe this long-standing check should be cast aside, and I will oppose a waiver of this rule, even for someone as exceptionally qualified as General Mattis.”

That stance didn’t sit well with his fellow Marines and military veterans who gave the congressman a virtual blanket party on Facebook.

“You’re an embarrassment to the Marines,” said many who visited Gallego’s Facebook page today.

It’s a weekend warrior disrespecting one of the greatest generals in Marine Corps history,” said David Dudley.  “Catch a knife hand to the throat, pussy.”

“This is your last term in the house,” said Rich Baptist.  “Get your resume ready, McDonalds probably is going to want to see it.”

“I guess your motto is ‘Semper I’, not ‘Semper Fi’, I’m ashamed to call you a brother,” said Marine Kerry McClanahan.

“You worthless shitbag,” wrote Chad Stanley.  “You have no integrity!”

“Every unit had a guy like this,” wrote Marine Mitch Cogburn.  “The little bitch that didn’t belong.”

Gallego was called everything from a “fat ass” to “blue falcon”, a code word we use to politely call a fellow Marine who goes against his own a, “Buddy F*&cker”.

“Wish we could take this guy to the tree line,” wrote … of all people… Al Swearengen.

Lace Carmouche bluntly told Gallego, “God you’re a pussy.”
