Father and Son Arrested for Trafficking Fentanyl and Firearms

**LOS ANGELES, CA** – A father and son, Antonio Espinoza Zarate and Francisco Javier Espinoza Galindo, were taken into custody on Monday for trafficking fentanyl and illegal firearms. The arrests were the result of an investigation by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) working with various federal and state law enforcement agencies in Southern California.

Antonio Espinoza, also charged with illegal reentry, is accused of multiple illegal arms and drug sales. In July 2023, he allegedly sold firearms and over 500 grams of fentanyl pills. In August 2023, he is said to have sold an AR-style rifle and approximately one kilogram of fentanyl pills, supplied by Francisco Espinoza.

Espinoza, originally from Mexico, was previously deported multiple times and reentered the U.S. illegally. If convicted, both father and son face a maximum life sentence and a minimum of 10 years in federal prison.

Police Investigate Attempted Burglaries in South River

**South River, NJ** – On March 28, South River Police Department responded at approximately 3:51 AM to an attempted burglary report at a centrally located town residence. A second similar incident reportedly occurred shortly thereafter at another nearby residence.

Authorities suspect both incidents involved the same three individuals attempting to enter each home. However, police canvassing the areas could not locate any suspects or a suspect vehicle.

The homeowners’ camera systems recorded the incidents at both locations, capturing images of the individuals and the alleged suspect vehicle. The South River Police do not disclose exact locations based on footage from private security cameras for privacy reasons.

**Berkeley Twp., NJ** – On Friday at approximately 1:29 PM, Berkeley Township Police Department officers responded to a structure fire at 310 St Vincent Ct. in the Holiday City section.

The situation prompted the response of several emergency groups. Alongside the police, the Manitou Park Volunteer Fire Department, Pinewald Pioneer Volunteer Fire Department, Bayville Volunteer Fire Department, and Holiday City First Aid were dispatched to the scene.

The fire was extinguished, though it caused substantial damage to the building. Investigators from the Berkeley Township Police Detective Bureau and the Ocean County Fire Marshal’s Office have not found any suspicious factors in the incident.

**West Chester, PA** – Mamadou Kallie has been convicted by a jury on multiple charges, including three counts of First-Degree Murder. **GAMBRILLS, MD** – Anne Arundel County Police responded to a motor vehicle collision at Annapolis Road and California Terrace on Thursday at approximately 10:00 p.m. During their investigation, officers discovered one of the drivers had an active detainer for a probation violation.

The suspect, identified as Quantonio Derell Dunscomb, 44, from Annapolis, Maryland, was taken into custody. Upon search, police found approximately 36.38 grams of suspected crack cocaine. Additional controlled substances including a capsule containing suspected heroin and fentanyl, five Xanax bars, and a vial of suspect PCP were also discovered in the suspect’s possession.

Dunscomb faces multiple charges related to controlled dangerous substances (CDS). The Anne Arundel County Police Department has processed the arrest and is handling the ongoing investigation.

Tennessee Man Sentenced in Drug Trafficking Case

**Memphis, TN** – A Tennessee resident was sentenced on Tuesday to over seven years in prison for his involvement in a drug trafficking conspiracy in the Memphis area.

Courtney Davis, 28, from Memphis, collaborated with others, including Brian Lackland, to distribute fentanyl and methamphetamine. The investigation focused on the Young Mob gang and their role in drug trafficking.

In March, law enforcement began wiretapping Davis, capturing discussions of acquiring and distributing fentanyl pills. Davis was implicated in distributing 90 grams of fentanyl and 1360 grams of methamphetamine.

Davis is one of 18 individuals charged in this case and the first to be sentenced, having pleaded guilty in December. The Justice Department and local law enforcement have conducted the investigation and prosecution as part of a broader initiative to combat violent crime in Memphis.

Juvenile Arrested in Connection with Assault and Robbery of Pizza Delivery Driver

**PITTSBURGH, PA** – Pittsburgh Police apprehended a juvenile following the robbery and assault of a pizza delivery driver that occurred on March 26, 2025, on Wymore Street.

The incident took place at approximately 1 a.m. on the 800 block of Wymore Street. Two masked individuals approached the victim, assaulting him with a pistol before taking his iPhone and wallet.

The juvenile, identified as Nae’Pear Clark, 16, of Pittsburgh, faces multiple charges. Clark’s charges include aggravated assault, robbery, conspiracy, theft by unlawful taking, possession of a firearm by a minor, and receiving stolen property. He was subsequently taken to Allegheny County Jail.

The investigation into this crime continues. Police are seeking any additional information related to the incident.
