Utica, NY – A domestic incident on Wall Street led to multiple charges against a 24-year-old man. The victim reported that during an argument, her child’s father choked her with a cord.
She managed to escape to safety with her one-year-old daughter. The incident escalated when the suspect threatened her with a kitchen knife.
On October 31, officers facilitated the suspect’s surrender to the Utica Police Department. He faces charges including criminal contempt in the first degree and criminal obstruction of breathing.
