Cop Suspended for Striking Deputy During Domestic Call at His Home

Upper Marlboro, MD – A Prince George’s County Police officer is suspended following his arrest for second-degree assault in Charles County. Charles Williams Jr. allegedly struck a Charles County Sheriff’s deputy during a domestic dispute call at his home around 1:00 am.

Williams, a department member since 2015, currently works in the Bureau of Patrol.

Police did not release any further information regarding this incident.
