SOUTH RIVER, NJ – Police in South River are advising motorists to avoid the area of Brick Plant Road due to possible closures while work is being done to repair a downed utility pole caused by a motor vehicle crash.
“Due to a motor vehicle accident involving a downed utility pole, Brick Plant Road is subject to closure while repairs are being made. Motorists are asked to avoid the area,” the department said. “During the repair process, power outages in the immediate area are possible.”
Repairs are estimated to take approximately 6 hours to complete.
