D.C. Armed Robber Caught On Surveillance

WASHINGTON, D.C. – The Washington D.C. Metro Police’s Carjacking Task Force is asking for the public’s help identifying a suspect involved in an armed robbery. This incident took place July 15th on the unit block of 1500 block of Maryland Avenue in Northeast, D.C.

Police say, “At approximately 12:34 pm, the suspect entered an establishment at the listed location. The suspect brandished a handgun and demanded money from the cash register. The suspect then fled the scene without obtaining any property.”

Surveillance cameras captured the suspect.
