D.C. Robbery Suspect Captured On Camera

WASHINGTON, DC—The D.C. Metro Police Department’s Third District is actively seeking assistance from the community to identify a suspect involved in a recent robbery incident in Northwest. The call for public assistance follows a robbery late Friday afternoon.

The incident occurred at approximately 4:18 PM on Friday in the 1400 block of Irving Street in Northwest D.C. According to reports, the suspect approached the victim, suggested possession of a weapon, and demanded personal property, which the victim handed over.

Surveillance footage capturing the suspect has been released by the police.

Authorities are urging anyone with information to not approach the suspect but to contact the police at (202) 727-9099 or send a tip through the Department’s text tip line at 50411.
