Masked vandal sought after daycare windows smashed with children inside
Montgomery County, MD – Detectives are asking for the public’s help after a masked suspect was caught on camera damaging multiple windows at a home-based daycare while children were inside during the middle of the day.
The incident happened Tuesday around 12:39 p.m. in the 14000 block of London Lane, according to the Montgomery County Department of Police. Investigators said the suspect vandalized several windows at a residence operating as a daycare while children were present inside the home.
Police said no children were injured during the incident. The suspect sustained a cut to his right hand before fleeing the scene, investigators said.
Detectives with the 4th District Patrol Investigations Unit reviewed Ring camera footage from the residence and obtained images of the suspect. Police described him as an unknown male, approximately 20 to 25 years old, wearing a blue surgical mask, black beanie, black glasses, and a black hoodie with a white Spiderman logo.

The department released surveillance images as part of a suspect identification alert and said the investigation remains active. Detectives are urging anyone with information to contact Crime Solvers of Montgomery County.
Tips can be submitted anonymously, and information leading to an arrest may be eligible for a reward ranging from $250 up to $10,000.
