De Blasio: We’re not pushing hard enough to force people to vaccinate

Bill DeBlasio, Mayor New York City.

NEW YORK, NY – New York City Mayor Bill De Blasio said Americans aren’t being pushed hard enough to get vaccinated and suggested the unvaccinated no longer have the right to work and earn a living the country in an CNN interview.

“Your paycheck depends on it, or your ability to enjoy life, and go do the things you want to do,’ people will make the practical decision … but we’re not pushing hard enough,” De Blasio said, claiming he is not a tyrant overseeing one the nation’s most draconian COVID-19 responses, but a progressive leader at the front of the pack in the war against COVID-19.
