Two men shot in Northern District while on West Cold Lane, police investigate
BALTIMORE, MD – Two men were found shot Tuesday morning in separate locations just minutes apart, prompting a shooting investigation by Northern District detectives into what appears to be a single incident with both victims targeted in the same area.
At approximately 10:49 a.m. on January 14, Northern District enforcement units on routine patrol discovered a 32-year-old man suffering from a gunshot wound in the 2700 block of West Cold Lane. Shortly afterward, officers located a second victim, a 27-year-old man, in the 4400 block of Reisterstown Road—also suffering from a gunshot wound.
Medics transported both victims to local hospitals. Police confirmed that both individuals sustained non-life-threatening injuries.
According to preliminary findings, both men were in the rear area of the 2700 block of West Cold Lane when they were shot by unidentified suspects. How one of the victims ended up on Reisterstown Road has not yet been explained, and no suspect description or motive has been released.
The investigation remains active.
