BRIGHTON, CO – Brighton police officers say charges are pending against at least one driver after a serious crash sent one person to the hospital. On Thursday, police responded to the scene of a crash at 132nd Avenue and Sable Boulevard. According to police, the crash involved three vehicles, a sedan, an SUV, and a semi-trailer. The driver of the semi was arrested for suspicion of careless driving causing injury. He was later released, pending charges. As the investigation continues, formal charges will follow, the department said. One of the drivers was transported to an area hospital with injuries.
