Six officers fire weapons in fatal Dundalk shooting under investigation
DUNDALK, Md. – A man was killed Thursday night after six Baltimore County Police officers opened fire during a confrontation with an armed suspect inside a Dundalk home, authorities said.
The incident occurred around 8:30 p.m. in the 2100 block of Larkhall Road, where officers responded to reports of shots fired. Upon arrival, they saw the suspect in a window and, during the encounter, discharged their weapons after he displayed a firearm, police said.

Police said the armed man sustained life-threatening injuries and was pronounced deceased at the scene. A firearm was recovered. No officers or bystanders were injured.
All six officers involved were wearing body-worn cameras at the time of the incident.
Investigation
The Independent Investigations Division of the Maryland Office of the Attorney General has taken over the investigation, as required in officer-involved shootings. The officers have been placed on administrative leave pending the outcome of the review.
