Dunkin’ in Laurel robbed at gunpoint as suspect flees with cash

LAUREL, MD — Police in Anne Arundel County are searching for a suspect who robbed a Dunkin’ store on Laurel Ft. Meade Road Monday afternoon after implying he had a weapon and threatening an employee.

The robbery occurred around 3:20 p.m. on November 10 at the Dunkin’ in the 3500 block of Laurel Ft. Meade Road. According to investigators, the suspect entered the store, suggested he was armed, and demanded cash from an employee. He fled the scene on foot with an undisclosed amount of money.

Responding officers, along with K-9 units and Aviation support, canvassed the surrounding area but were unable to locate the suspect.

Police described the individual as a Black male with dreadlocks, wearing a black jacket, ripped blue jeans, and white Croc shoes.

The investigation is ongoing, and detectives are urging anyone with information to contact the Anne Arundel County Police Department at 410-222-4731. Anonymous tips can be submitted via the tip line at 410-222-4700.
