Hackettstown woman arrested after allegedly arranging juvenile fight outside Dunkin’ Donuts
HACKETTSTOWN, NJ – A 35-year-old woman has been charged with child cruelty and neglect after police say she transported a juvenile to a Dunkin’ Donuts where a fight between two juveniles was initiated at her direction.
Hackettstown Police said the incident occurred around 3:29 p.m. on Tuesday, September 30, outside the Dunkin’ Donuts located at 170 Mountain Avenue. Officers responded to a report of two juveniles involved in a physical altercation.
An investigation revealed that Magdelin Parra-Delacruz of Hackettstown was responsible for bringing one of the juveniles to the location and instigating the confrontation. Authorities say the altercation was not spontaneous but orchestrated by the adult.
Parra-Delacruz was arrested on October 27 and charged with two counts of fourth-degree cruelty and neglect of children. She was released pending a future court appearance.
No information was released about the condition of the juveniles or the nature of their relationship. The investigation remains active.
