Duquesne, PA – A 32-year-old Duquesne man is facing multiple charges after a juvenile was hospitalized for ingesting narcotics that tested positive for a cocaine metabolite, according to the Allegheny County Police Department. The case began on December 19, when the child was dropped off at UPMC Children’s Hospital by his parents, who left immediately afterward.
Detectives from the Allegheny County Police General Investigations Unit launched an inquiry and later executed a search warrant at the family’s home on the 900 block of Wool Avenue. Inside, investigators found significant quantities of heroin/fentanyl, cocaine, and marijuana, along with drug paraphernalia and three handguns — one of which was reported stolen. Police said the items were located in areas accessible to several juveniles living in the residence.
Detectives identified Iedoniae Cole as the person responsible for the drugs and firearms. He was taken into custody and charged with aggravated assault, possession with intent to deliver, endangering the welfare of children, and receiving stolen property.
