TEANECK, N.J. – Police in Teaneck are investigating a motor vehicle crash involving an e-bike that occurred Monday evening near the Interstate 95 South entrance ramp.
According to the Teaneck Police Department, officers responded to Degraw Avenue near Frank W. Burr Boulevard around 6:33 p.m. after receiving multiple 911 calls reporting a collision initially described as involving a motorcycle.
When officers arrived, they discovered the crash involved a single motor vehicle and an e-bike, not a motorcycle as first reported. The crash occurred on the eastbound side of Degraw Avenue, a short distance before the I-95 South on-ramp.
Investigation ongoing
Police did not immediately release details about injuries or the cause of the crash. The roadway was temporarily closed as officers investigated and cleared the scene.
Authorities said the incident remains under investigation, and additional information will be released as it becomes available.
