Early Morning Robbery in Jackson Heights Leaves Man Injured

Jackson Heights, NY – A 38-year-old man fell victim to a street robbery in the early hours of Sunday, January 14. The incident occurred around 6:05 AM near the intersection of 37th Avenue and 77th Street in Jackson Heights. According to police reports, two unidentified men approached the victim, forcibly snatching his cellphone and assaulting him by punching him in the head.

The assailants quickly fled the scene on foot, heading south on 77th Street towards Roosevelt Avenue. Despite the attack, the victim sustained only minor injuries and declined medical attention at the scene.

Authorities are on the lookout for the two suspects involved in this brazen robbery. The first suspect is described as having a light complexion and a slim build, last seen wearing black shoes, black pants, and a black vest. The second suspect has a medium complexion and was last seen dressed in white shoes, dark pants, and a black sweater.
