Search underway for 81-year-old man missing from Fort Washington home
FORT WASHINGTON, MD – An 81-year-old man has been reported missing from Prince George’s County, and police are urging the public to help locate him after he was last seen leaving his home in the early morning hours.
James Bynum was last seen around 3:00 a.m. on Sunday in the 8700 block of Cumbria Court in Fort Washington. According to the Prince George’s County Police Department, he has not been heard from since.
Bynum is described as a Black male, approximately 5 feet 6 inches tall and weighing 135 pounds. He was last seen wearing a long-sleeved flannel shirt and jeans. Police have not indicated whether he suffers from any medical conditions or may be endangered, but say the Missing Persons Section is actively working the case.
Officers are asking anyone with information on Bynum’s whereabouts to contact the department at 301-772-8970. The investigation remains ongoing.
