Fatal Motorcycle Crash Claims Two Lives in Deltona

DELTONA, FL—A tragic incident occurred Tuesday evening when a motorcycle rider and their passenger were killed in a collision in the City of Deltona, Florida. The accident involved a 2007 Yamaha sport bike and a Mazda SUV on Normandy Boulevard near Sullivan Street.

The motorcycle, driven by 26-year-old Joshua E. Colon Cirino of Deltona, was traveling south at a high speed. It collided with the SUV as the latter attempted a left turn onto Sullivan Street, resulting in the motorcycle striking the SUV’s right front fender. The impact ejected both Colon Cirino and his female passenger from the bike.

Despite efforts by witnesses to provide lifesaving measures, both individuals were pronounced dead at the scene by Deltona Fire Rescue personnel. The identity of the female passenger has yet to be released. Following the crash, the SUV’s two occupants were hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries.
