Bronx, NY – A father and son have been arrested in connection with a deadly shooting earlier this month that left a 26-year-old man dead outside a Bronx building, police announced Wednesday.
Detectives said 24-year-old Devonte Moore was taken into custody Wednesday night in the 47th Precinct as part of an ongoing homicide investigation.
He is the second suspect arrested in the case, following the October 17 arrest of his father, 64-year-old Norman Moore.
Key Points
- Devonte Moore, 24, and his father, Norman Moore, 64, are charged with murder, manslaughter, and criminal possession of a weapon.
- The arrests stem from the October 7 fatal shooting of 26-year-old Fareed Adeyi.
- Adeyi was shot multiple times in the chest outside a home on White Plains Road and later died at Jacobi Hospital.
