Dr. Anthony Fauci has warned this week that fully vaccinated might soon mean fully vaccinated plus a booster shot. Now, he’s hinting at a possible forced vaccination policy for unvaccinated Americans as many continue to refuse the jab, sometimes referred to as “the Fauci ouchie”.
“We really have to get people vaccinated,” Fauci said. “I mean, I understand and we all understand how people do not like to be told what to do they want to make their own choice, and their own free will. I get that and I respect that.”
Fauci said COVID-19 however, has changed the definition, not only of ‘fully vaccinated’, but also ‘freedom’ in America.
“These are unusual times and you can’t think only of yourself and your own personal opinion, but you’ve got to think about your communal responsibility to get yourself and your family and indirectly then the community protected,” Fauci added. “So i would prefer and we all would prefer that people would be voluntarily getting vaccinated, but if they’re not going to do that sometimes you’ve got to do things that are unpopular but that clearly supersede individual choices and are directed predominantly at the communal good and that’s what we’re talking about when we’re talking about when we’re talking about requirements.”
Fauci hinted that the federal government, which is clearly frustrated over the number of vaccinated Americans might take more drastic steps to force those Americans to get vaccinated. Some options on the table include vaccination passports, workplace vaccine mandates, mandatory vaccination for school children and at some point, even forced COVID-19 vaccinations.
