Tatum Hatch, a 32-year-old former high school teacher, has been accused of maintaining an improper relationship with a student for over a year. According to Ouachita Parish Sheriff’s Office jail records, Hatch faces charges of computer-initiated solicitation of a minor.

The arrest warrant affidavit details allegations of Hatch expressing a desire to be the first sexual partner of the minor, along with concerns that the boy might be involved with someone else. The victim, who was under 15 years old at the start of the relationship, disclosed the situation to his father on December 15, 2023.

Evidence of the relationship was supported by a series of Instagram messages between the student and Hatch, who was then a teacher at West Monroe High School. These messages were shown to the father, corroborating the son’s allegations.
