WOODBRIDGE, VA — Early on Friday at 4:57 AM, police were dispatched to Featherstone Rd. to respond to a reported robbery.
The altercation involved a 24-year-old woman and Maazen Imran Butt, an acquaintance.
The conflict began verbally in a car and escalated, with Butt threatening the victim and assaulting her after dragging her out of the vehicle. He then stole her phone and purse and left the scene with another acquaintance driving.
The victim suffered minor injuries. Police have issued arrest warrants for Butt, a 22-year-old male from Oakwood Dr., described as 6’1” and 195 lbs. with brown hair. He is currently wanted for attempted malicious wounding, robbery, assault & battery, and grand larceny. Efforts to locate Butt have so far been unsuccessful.

Stafford, VA – A driver was taken to jail after deputies found a vehicle in a ditch near an old retention pond early Tuesday, while hours later another resident reported a stolen license plate in a separate incident, according to the Stafford County Sheriff’s Office.
The DUI arrest occurred Tuesday at approximately 2:46 a.m. in the 200 block of Brooke Road. A deputy responded to a report of a single vehicle accident and located a vehicle that had run off the roadway into a ditch and an old retention pond area.
The driver was identified as Leslie Rickmon, 36, of Stafford. Deputies reported that Rickmon displayed signs of intoxication at the scene. Rickmon declined to participate in field sobriety tests and refused to submit a breath sample.
Rickmon was taken into custody and charged with driving under the influence, refusal to submit to a breath test, and reckless driving. Rickmon was remanded to the Rappahannock Regional Jail.
In a separate incident later that day, Deputy S. M. Eastman responded at approximately 1:50 p.m. to Nugent Drive for a reported larceny. A victim told deputies that someone had stolen a license plate from one of their vehicles.
No suspect information was released in the larceny case, which remains under investigation.

WOODBRIDGE, VA – A 70-year-old pedestrian was struck and killed Tuesday evening while crossing Richmond Highway near Opitz Boulevard in Woodbridge, according to the Prince William County Police Department.
Investigators said the man was walking in the roadway around 6:06 p.m. when he was hit by a 2025 Toyota Camry traveling south on Richmond Highway. The pedestrian was not in a crosswalk or designated crossing area at the time of the collision.
The driver, a 19-year-old man, remained at the scene and was not injured. The victim was rushed to a nearby hospital, where he later died from his injuries. Police have not released the man’s name pending notification of family.

Vandalism discovered at Woodbridge construction site
Just hours earlier, officers were called to a commercial building in the 16700 block of River Ridge Boulevard to investigate a case of vandalism. Police said that sometime between January 26 and February 16, swastikas, racial slurs, and other symbols were spray-painted inside the unfinished property.
The building remains under construction, and no suspect information has been released. Investigators are asking anyone with knowledge of the vandalism to come forward.

EVESHAM TOWNSHIP, NJ – A coordinated law enforcement operation has led to the arrest of a juvenile accused of receiving a stolen motor vehicle following a string of car burglaries in two Evesham Township neighborhoods.
Police began investigating after several residents in Arrowhead Estates and Devonforde Estates reported vehicle break-ins on January 18. The incidents sparked an extensive probe by Evesham Township Police Department detectives who worked for weeks to identify the suspect believed to be linked to multiple vehicle burglaries across the area.
On February 13, investigators from Evesham were joined by the Camden County Sheriff’s Emergency Response Team, Cherry Hill Police Department, and Westville Police Department to execute a search warrant on Line Street in Camden. Authorities recovered evidence from the residence that tied the juvenile to the ongoing theft investigation.
The suspect, whose name is being withheld due to age, was formally charged with third-degree receiving stolen property and a motor vehicle. Police said the investigation remains active, with detectives continuing to determine whether the suspect may be connected to other thefts in the region.
