GLEN BURNIE, MD – Timothy Jeffries of Glen Burnie won $6,000 as the sixth Home Run Riches Contestant of the Game to benefit from an Orioles grand slam this season. The prize comes from the Lottery’s FAST PLAY Home Run Riches Bases Loaded second-chance promotion.

In this new addition to the 2024 promotion, players enter FAST PLAY Home Run Riches Bases Loaded tickets into their My Lottery Rewards account. One contestant is chosen for each of the Orioles’ 162 games. Contestants receive $500 for being selected and an additional $500 for each home run in their designated game, with a grand slam earning a $5,000 bonus. The final drawing will be on August 27.

Timothy was watching the Orioles game against the Toronto Blue Jays on July 31 when his wish for a grand slam came true. With bases loaded, Orioles rookie Jackson Holliday hit his first home run, earning Timothy his prize.

This marks another success for Timothy with Home Run Riches, as he also won $500 instantly on the FAST PLAY game. He plans to buy a bushel of crabs and save the rest. The game offers $5 tickets with instant-win prizes up to $5,000 and a progressive jackpot starting at $40,000.
