Grand jury indicts Bel Air man in crash that killed Milton Wright High students

BEL AIR, MD – A Harford County grand jury has indicted a man in connection with a fatal crash involving C. Milton Wright High School students, prosecutors announced Thursday.

John Anthony Gaeta Jr. was indicted Tuesday on charges of negligent vehicular manslaughter, criminally negligent vehicular manslaughter and two counts of second-degree assault stemming from a Sept. 18 collision in the area of North Fountain Green Road and Crescent Knoll Drive in Bel Air.

According to the Office of the State’s Attorney for Harford County, the indictment relates to a motor vehicle crash that resulted in fatalities involving students from C. Milton Wright High School.

Gaeta was served with an arrest warrant Friday and is currently being held at the Harford County Detention Center pending further review.

As with all criminal cases, Gaeta is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt in a court of law.
