Grandfather and Young Grandson Killed by Falling Tree in New Jersey

Verona, NJ – Two people were killed in a freak accident involving a falling tree in a Verona town on Monday evening, April 29.

The victims were identified as a 61-year-old man and his 6-month-old grandson from the incident on West Lincoln Street. Responders discovered a tree that had uprooted and fallen on the man and his grandchild, according to reports citing police.
