Greenmount Avenue shooting leaves man critically injured with multiple bullet wounds

BALTIMORE, Md. — A 40-year-old man is in critical condition after being shot multiple times Friday night in the 2600 block of Greenmount Avenue, police said.

Officers responded around 9:24 p.m. to investigate reports of gunfire, and shortly after, the victim walked into a local hospital with gunshot wounds to his upper body.

Northern District Shooting detectives responded to the scene and have taken over the investigation.

The investigation remains active as police search for the shooter.
