TAKE 5 top prize ticket sold in Rochester

Rochester, NY – A popular grocery store in northwest Rochester became the site of a winning lottery purchase after a top-prize TAKE 5 ticket was sold in the Feb. 2 evening drawing.

The New York Lottery reported that a ticket worth $10,058.50 was sold at Wegmans, located at 3701 Mt. Read Blvd. The ticket matched the top prize numbers selected in the evening TAKE 5 draw.

TAKE 5 drawings are conducted twice daily, with numbers drawn from one through 39. The midday drawing airs at 2:30 p.m., followed by the evening drawing at 10:30 p.m. Winners have one year from the draw date to claim prizes.

Lottery proceeds continue to support education statewide, with the New York Lottery contributing $3.6 billion during the 2024–2025 fiscal year to public schools.
