Two teens shot on Edmondson Avenue in nighttime attack

BALTIMORE, MD – A 15-year-old girl and a 17-year-old boy were both wounded in a shooting Friday night on Edmondson Avenue, prompting a Western District investigation into the latest burst of gunfire involving teenagers.

Officers responded around 9:27 p.m. to the 2700 block of Edmondson Avenue after a ShotSpotter alert indicated gunfire in the area. Upon arrival, they discovered both victims suffering from gunshot wounds. Paramedics transported them to a nearby hospital, where both were treated for non-life-threatening injuries.

Police have not released any suspect information, and it remains unclear if the teens were the intended targets or caught in crossfire.
