Gunman opens fire on Bronx street in late-night shooting as trio flees

Gunfire rang out late Wednesday in the Bronx as a trio of masked men fled the scene without injuring their target.

BRONX — A group of three unidentified men opened fire on a Bronx street late Wednesday night, targeting a man in front of a residential building before fleeing on foot, police said.

The incident occurred around 11:27 p.m. on June 25 in front of 2055 Saint Raymond Avenue. According to the NYPD, one of the individuals pulled out a firearm and discharged it multiple times at a male victim.

Despite the gunfire, no injuries were reported.

After the shooting, the three individuals ran westbound on Benedict Avenue. Police have not yet identified the suspects or the intended target.

All three men are described as having dark complexions and appearing to be between 20 and 22 years old.

The first suspect was last seen wearing a black sweatshirt, black ski mask, black sweatpants, and black sneakers.

The second suspect was wearing a black sweatshirt, black sweatpants, and white sneakers.

The third was wearing a black and gray sweatshirt, a blue surgical mask, gray shorts, and black Crocs.

As of Tuesday, no arrests have been made and the investigation remains ongoing.
