Man shot in Northeast Baltimore walks to nearby block for help before hospital transport
Baltimore, MD — A 26-year-old man was shot Wednesday morning in Northeast Baltimore and managed to make his way to another block before police arrived and rushed him to the hospital.
Officers responded around 10:37 a.m. to the 4900 block of Sinclair Lane for a report of a shooting. When they arrived, they found the victim suffering from at least one gunshot wound. The man told officers he was shot nearby, in the 5200 block of Eastbury Avenue.
He was transported to a local hospital and is expected to survive his injuries, officials said.
Northeast District shooting detectives responded and have taken over the investigation. No suspects or motive have been publicly identified, and no arrests have been made.
Police are asking anyone with information to come forward.
