Gunshot Heard by Patrolling Officers Leads to Shooting Investigation in Baltimore

BALTIMORE – Officers on patrol in the unit block of North Howard Street were unexpectedly thrown into action last night when they heard gunfire in the vicinity at around 7:54 p.m.

On investigating the source, officers found a 36-year-old man with a gunshot injury. “Medics transported the victim to an area hospital, where he is currently receiving treatment for his injury,” the police statement read.

Central District Shooting detectives have since taken over the case, delving into the details surrounding the shooting.
